Climbing Rock Climbing Mallorca: Ermita de Betlem (Arta) Tl:Dr: Interesting area with several walls in the Llevant mountains near a beautiful hermitage. Partly undocumented and under development.
Climbing Rock Climbing Mallorca: Cala Magraner (East Coast) Tl:Dr: One of the most well known areas on the island with climbs starting directly on a beautiful beach. A wide selection of good routes but with very polished holds on the easier ones.
Climbing Rock Climbing Mallorca: La Victoria (Alcudia) Tl:Dr: A small crag with short easy-ish and somewhat unique routes. However the bolts are rusted and there is a very limited route selection. Still good for a visit.
Climbing Rock Climbing Mallorca: Cala Bota (East Coast) Tl:Dr: About 40 routes from easy to hard in a perfect seaside setting. The climbing style is varied: Slabs and jugfests can be found here. 40-ish minutes approach.
Climbing Rock Climbing Mallorca: Cala Llombards (East Coast) Tl:Dr: Small crag with primarily hard overhanging routes with very short approach and a beach right next to it. Great for projecting.
Climbing Rock Climbing Mallorca: Cas Catala (Palma West) Tl:Dr: Plenty of easy routes in a unique almost urban setting close to the big city of Palma. However it gets busy quickly. Good for a quick two hour hit and run.
Climbing Rock Climbing Mallorca: Tijuana (Cala Santanyi) Tl:Dr: A great example of Mallorca east coast seaside climbing with a wide selection of routes and a super short approach.
Climbing Rock Climbing Mallorca: Calo de Betlem Tl:Dr: Hard mostly slab climbing on the foot of the “other” mountains of Mallorca right by the sea. However the mixed bag of good and bad bolts and the relatively small number of routes make this only an “okay” crag.
Climbing Rock Climbing Mallorca: La Creveta (Formentor) Tl:Dr: Long routes on perfect grippy rock in the stunning landscape of the cape Formentor. The wide selection of routes however is earned with a tricky approach.
Climbing Rock Climbing Mallorca: Sa Font (Pollenca) Tl:Dr: A 5 minute approach and great views make this small area perfect for a half day visit. The routes are short (10-15m) and range from medium (4c/5a) to hard (7a+) difficulty.
