This article is part of a series in which I am reviewing the local climbing spots on Mallorca from my beginner / intermediate climber point of view.

The climbs
In summary: Short vertical and slightly overhanging routes on the typical sharp Tramuntana rock. Good holds lent themselves to powerful climbing if you do not want to spend time on figuring out better beta.

On the easier climbs the bolts are closely spaced - no need to fear for your life here. In the harder area the bolting is a bit confusing: It almost feels like the bolts have been sprayed on the wall like in a climbing gym.

The grades given for the climbs seem to be a bit off (especially the 6a / 6b climbs felt significantly harder than the grade given)!

Approach
You can park your car right under the cliff and walk up the last 50 meters in two minutes - Maybe the shortest approach on the island I know of. And there is plenty of parking space too. Don't be discouraged by the steep and broken road when driving up!

The good, the bad and the ugly
Besides the easy approach and enjoyable climbing the views from the views over the bay of Alcudia and towards the jagged cliffs of the Serra de Bernat Cavall make this spot worth a visit.

The only downsides are the small number of routes (17 or 18) and their short length.

The area will get very hot in the summer months with the wall being southeast facing and being protected from most winds.
