This article is part of a series in which I am reviewing the local climbing spots on Mallorca from my beginner / intermediate climber point of view.

The climbs
On the right side of the Cala Romantica Beach (also known as S’Estany d’en Mas) there is a about seven meter high white rock wall that starts overhanging about a meter of the ground. The lower bit of the wall has many features and pockets to grab onto while the upper part is more blank (and highball territory anyways).

The landings are partly rocky and partly sandy. I guess you can climb here without crash pads if you do not move too high up. We had one small pad with us, which was enough to do some climbing and traversing.

I have not found any topo description of boulder problems so you just need to figure out something on your own.

Approach
The settlement of S’Estany d’en Mas is on the east coast of Mallorca. Just drive to the beach side parking and you will see the wall from there.

The good, the bad and the ugly
A fun place to play around while spending a day on the beach. There never are huge crowds on this beach, even in the summer season.

However this is no major bouldering sector - do not expect tons of climbs and variation!
