This article is part of a series in which I am reviewing the local climbing spots on Mallorca (and the other balearics) from my beginner / intermediate climber point of view.

The climbs
Like the area on the Punta d´Amer this seems to be an old quarry by the sea that offers quite a few low stakes boulders with nice sandy landings that make a bouldering pad more or less unnecessary. You will not find super hard or project worthy stuff here but the climbing is fun and there is still a lot to explore.

As of now I found three different lines on the steeper sections. All at around 5c/6a:

Approach
From Capdepera follow the road to La Font de la Cala and continue on the same road until an opening between the villas on the seaside. Park here and search for a small staircase down to a path that leads to the boulders and a very cool little stoney beach. There are many bizarre rock / sand formations here which are worth a visit even without climbing.

The good, the bad and the ugly
The location (ease of access, beach, no need for mats etc.) is great and the climbing (as much as I have explored it until now) is really fun.

On the other hand this is by no means a top notch bouldering spot (like Pixarells in the Tramuntana) but „just“ nice playground.

More Information
As of now the areas are not documented on theCrag or similar platforms.
