Karlskoga to Köping
Our general heading for the last few days would be east towards Uppsala and finally Arlanda airport. We started the day with a visit at Alfred Nobels villa which is noteworthy as this would be the last bit of civilization for the day.
The day continued with undulating terrain on the gravel tracks through the woods going by some lakes and a water powerplant right out of Mad Max until we reached Lindesberg. The thing I remember from this town is the drunk dude explaining to us how everything is going to shit in Sweden... oh well if you think so.
All throughout the day there were occasional rain showers but it looked promising to be dry for the night. So we started our search for the nights camp spot and again the strategy of “take your time” was fruitful as we discovered a old mining lake. After the last locals using the cold lake for a late night swim had left (not without interviewing us on where we were from etc. from the back of a Quad and with a beer in hand) we had the place for ourself.
